A Texas Mountain Girl

11/1/21 Exploring San Antonio 11/2/21 We went to Mozart's coffee and then paddle boarded 11/3/21 Originally planned to go to enchanted Rock but rain made us switch to rock climbing 11/4/21 Finally made it to Enchanted Rock Casey's BBQ 11/5/21 Exploring Austin and meeting up with Molly's sister at a local park then saying goodbye and meeting Jack for the evening. 11/6/21 Today was mostly a travel day. Although I did get a chance to enjoy a great breakfast with Jack at Snooze AM Eatery. I ordered a Pumpkin Pecan Pie pancake which was absolutely amazing! After breakfast I dropped Jack back off at his apartment and then began my 7 hour drive to Alabama! It was mostly uneventful beyond seeing the swamplands in Louisiana. I made it to Dylan's family boil just in time and enjoyed a good southern meal. The experience was great and I know that I am going to gain a few pounds while I am here in Alabama.

11/9/21-11/11/21 I drove back to Kentucky in a day to switch out the van for my own car. The trusty steed held together for those 14,000 miles and Ryan is now working on a song about the van! It was great spending time with family, once I had a negative COVID test since my allergies were acting up, and driving back into my hometown was quite refreshing. I ran some errands on my second day home and then finished cleaning up the remnants of my van set-up. 11/12/21 This was a long traveling day so not a lot of interesting things happened.  10/26/21 Los Angeles is not my favorite place. The sights are cool but the drivers are obsessed with being fast and the people are all stressed out and angry or confused which makes the atmosphere quite uncomfortable. We hit many sights throughout the city on our day of adventure. We started off with the famous Griffith Observatory but were disappointed to see that it was closed due to a film shoot happening. We then made our way to the Hollywood sign where we took a bunch of photos freaking out over finally seeing the sign in person. From there we went to the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame where all of the stars on the sidewalk are located.  Last day of camping with the Villains. Nick posing epically. A not so epic photo of myself. THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN Griffith observatory. Film crew gear truck From there we drove to the house that was used in Halloween, known as the Michael Meyers house. Once we got there Nick dressed up as Michael Meyers and he geeked out while I took photos for him.
